Learn How to Sew - is a 2 hours Introductory Class, running as a private class of one-on-one format (in person) AGE REQUIREMENT: Teen to Adult WHAT YOU WILL LEARN: This introductory course is perfect for the student who has no sewing knowledge, and wants to learn the basics of how to sew with the sewing machine. PLEASE VISIT OUR PRIVATE TUTORING HOURS - UNDER CLASSES: For the student who wants to polish basic skills and learn professional techniques and explore sewing further, we offer convenient and flexible packages of hours - the more you buy the more the discount - that will allow the student to pursue personal goals such as learn how to interpret and execute a commercial pattern garment, or learn various techniques and skills such as seams, interfacing, hems, darts, zippers, how to cut your first garment, vocabulary, and more. If you're interested in following a more formal Garment Construction I course, we offer packages of 10 and 20 classes of 2 hrs each, which ends with a final project of an *A-line skirt for final project that will get you to learn and practice: -Different seams styles and use. -Serger seams. Get acquainted with the Serger machine and its use. -Basics on FABRIC theory with vocabulary. Yes: You'll need to take lots of notes! -Lay out patterns on fabric and cut it properly. -Darts and Yoke. -Zipper. -Interface and its use. -Bias tape hem...and much more! We'll answers questions gladly.
